Baseball Team Wins Again Behind Madrigal Complete Game
The MSJC baseball team improved it's record to 4-0 on the season with a 7-2 victory over visiting Pasadena City College on Tuesday afternoon.
Drew Madrigal threw a complete game for the Eagles striking out 15 and allowing no earned runs and just three hits on the day. MSJC seized control of the game in the bottom of the third when they scored three runs. The Eagles also added one each in the fourth and fifth to extend the lead to 5-1. After Pasadena scored one in the top of the seventh, Eagle pinch hitter Randy Bruce responded belting a two run homer over the left field wall in the bottom of the inning to make it 7-2.
John Eschleman, Madrigal, and Devin Greco all picked up two hits on the day for MSJC. the Eagles are back in action Thursday when they travel to Imperial Valley for a doubleheader.
