Baseball Team Wins Fourth Straight

Ryan Clark threw a complete game shut out on Monday as the MSJC baseball team won their fourth straight game defeating visiting Victor Valley 4-0.
The Eagles improved their overall record to 8-11 and pulled even in Foothill Conference play at 6-6. Clark allowed just five hits in the game while striking out 5 and walking just one Ram hitter. Centerfielder Steven Chagolla and second baseman Steven Brown were the offensive stars on the day. Chagolla had 3 hits and an RBI while Brown added two hits and an RBI. Johnny Armenta added an RBI triple for the Eagles. The win completed a three game sweep of Victor Valley for the Eagles.
MSJC will be back in action today as they travel to Lancaster to start a three game series with Antelope Valley College. The Eagles will host AVC on Thursday and then return to Lancaster on Saturday in the series finale.
