Eagles Blow Past Antelope Valley

The MSJC baseball team extended their school record for victories in a season to 29Devin Greco with a 15-5 win over host Antelope Valley College on Thursday.

The Eagles who improved to 29-9 on the season and 18-4 in Foothill Conference play pounded out 16 hits in the victory. Devin Greco had 4 RBIs in the game while Josh Ray and John Eshleman added 3 a piece. Every hitter in the MSJC line-up had at least one hit on the day.

On the mound Drew Madrigal improved to 8-4 on the season pitching a complete game allowing just two earned runs while striking out 12. With the win the Eagles stay one game behind Chaffey in the loss column as they try and win their first conference title since 1989. MSJC concludes conference play this Saturday when they host AVC Drew Madrigalin a doubleheader beginning at 12 pm.
