Eagles Make it Three Straight

The MSJC baseball team won for the third straight time Saturday when they defeated L.A. City 15-6.

Greg Anzures had 5 RBI and Josh Ray went 5 for 5 with 3 RBI to lead the offensive attack for the Eagles. MSJC jumped out of the gates quickly scoring six runs in the top of the first inning with the key hit being a bases loaded double by Anzures that drove in three runs. The Eagles continued to tack on runs throughout the game scoring in seven different innings.

Anthony Martinez picked up the victory on the mound going five innings and allowing four earned runs. Michael Crain, Cory Robbins, and K.C. Campbell combined to throw four shut out innings out of the bullpen for MSJC.

The Eagles are back in action Tuesday when they host Pasadena at 2 pm.
