Drew Madrigal and Johnny Skala were both named First Team All Foothill Conference for their efforts during the 2008 season. Pitcher Dale DeSchepper was named to the second team.
Madrigal, a freshman, played both left field and pitched for the Eagles who finished the season at 25-19. Madrigal had a 4-2 record on the mound holding opposing hitters to a .222 batting average and had an ERA of 3.35. As a hitter Madrigal hit .409 with 12 doubles and had an on base percentage of .490.
Skala led the Eagles in home runs with 6, RBI's with 38, doubles with 14, and stolen bases with 11. Skala was a two year starter for MSJC and played right field. Skala will attend Cal State Dominguez Hills next year.
DeSchepper, who was signed by the Kansas City Royals this Spring, led the Eagles in victories with 6 in 2008. He also led the team in innings pitched at 76 2/3 and strike outs with 65.
