Football Team Falls to Victor Vallley

The MSJC football team fell to 1-7 on the season this Saturday when they lost to Victor Valley College 41-0 in a game held at West Valley High School.
The Eagles were led on the afternoon by Cory Cabulagan who rushed for 29 yards on 9 carries. The Eagles trailed 7-0 after one quarter, and then the Rams were able to add 17 more before half to go into the locker room with a 24-0 lead.
The offense never got on track in the second half and the Rams were able to add a third quarter field goal and a pair of fourth quarter touchdowns for the final score.
The Eagles will travel to El Cajon to take on Grossmont College Saturday November 10th in a 3 pm game. The Eagles will wrap up the season on Friday November 16th when they travel to Chula Vista for a game with Southwestern which was originally scheduled for October 27th.
