Laster Makes All State Team

MSJC freshman safety Clarence Laster was named First Team All State this week when the team was announced by the CCCAA.

Laster, a West Valley High School graduate, had 89 tackles and 3 interceptioClarence Lasterns on the season. His tackles ranked him second in the Mountain Conference while his 3 interceptions ranked 5th. Laster is the Eagles first all state selection since 2006 when former Eagle and current Washington State offensive lineman Vaughn Lesuma earned the honor.

Laster who started all 10 games for MSJC led the defensive unit in several categories and also had three tackles for a loss and two fumble recoveries this season. One of the fumble recoveries led to a school record 99 yard return for a touchdown.

 

 

Clarence Laster was named First Team All State for his efforts this season for the Eagle football team.
