Patriotic Bowl to be Held at Tahquitz High School
The MSJC football team will host Los Angeles Pierce College this Saturday November 17th at 7 pm in the 2012 Patriotic Bowl. The game will be held at Tahquitz High School in Hemet.
The Eagles enter the game with a 9-1 mark while the Brahmas come into the game 8-2 on the season. Both teams were the runners-up in their respective Conferences during the regular season with identical 6-1 records. The two teams met at MSJC on September 8th with the Eagles pulling out a 44-30 victory. This is the Eagles first bowl appearance since the 2005 US Bank Beach Bowl.
Both teams come into the game with explosive offenses. Pierce is led by quarterback Nick Arbukle who averages just under 343 yards per game through the air and has thrown for 37 touchdowns. Jaelen Strong has been his favorite target this season pulling in a Pacific Conference high 15 touchdown receptions. MSJC counters with a strong ground game led by running back Superiorr Reid who comes into the game with a Mountain Conference leading 140 yards a game and 14 touchdowns. Quarterback Tim Morovick and wide out Dalton Hunkle have combined for over 100 yards per game in the passing game. Morovick has thrown 17 TD passes this season and overall is averaging 216 yards per game.

Dalton Hunkle and his MSJC teammates will host LA Pierce College on Saturday night at Tahquitz High School in the 2012 Patriotic Bowl. Saturday night's game will be held at Hemet Tahquitz High School and kick off is set for 7 pm.
