Saddleback blazed out of the gates on Saturday scoring three touchdowns in just over 4 minutes to start the game on their way to a 72-7 win over the MSJC football team.

The Eagles lone score of the game came in the second quarter when Carmen Boyer connected with Julian Luna on a 4 yard pass.  MSJC trailed at halftime 51-7.

The Eagles were outgained in total yards on the day 499 to 208.  Franex Dort had a nice game running the ball for MSJC finishing with 73 yards on 12 carries.  Carmen Boyer threw for 127 yards on 12 of 24 passing.  Tyrone Richardson caught 5 passes for 62 yards to lead the Eagles in that catagory.

With the win Saddleback, ranked #12 in the nation, moved to 2-0 while MSJC fell to 0-2.  The Eagles are back in action next Saturday when they travel to Palm Desert to take on COD in the Palms to Pines Trophy game.
