The MSJC football team came back from a 10-8 halftime deficit to beat host Compton College 53-16 Saturday.

Running back Joe Henderson led the Eagles offensive attack scoring 3 touchdowns on the ground.  Nick Moore added a fourth MSJC rushing touchdown.  Quarterback Tim Morovick connected on two touchdown passes in the second half, one each to Perris Scoggins and Dalton Hunkle.  The Eagles special teams also scored on a blocked punt that was picked up and run into the end zone by Chris Robinson.

The victory pushed MSJC's record to 4-4 overall and 2-1 in the Mountain Conference.  The Eagles have their final home game of the season on Saturday when they host San Diego Mesa College.  The game is the Eagles 2011 Homecoming game and will kick off at 1 pm at Carl Quandt Stadium.
