Balance Leads Eagles Past Barstow
The MSJC men's basketball team used a balanced offensive attack to defeat visiting Barstow College 85-58 on Wednesday keeping the Eagles in second place in the Foothill Conference.
Dakota Downs led four Eagles in double figures with 13 points while D'Andre Williams added 12, Jammall Clark 11, and Tykie Harris 10. Five other MSJC players scored between 6 and 9 points. Williams added 9 assists in the victory and Clark pulled in a game high 10 rebounds.
MSJC led by 12 at the half and shot 50% for the evening including 6 of 14 from the three point line. The Eagles also had a big advantage on the boards out rebounding the Vikings 46 to 31.
MSJC now stands at 21-7 overall and 10-3 in Foothill Conference action. The Eagles conclude the regular season Friday at Chaffey in Rancho Cucamonga. Game time is 7 pm and you can hear all the action on the Eagle Radio Network at AM 1620 or across the internet at msjc.edu
