Eagles 10-0, Set Up Show Down With Fullerton

The MSJC men's basketball team moved to 10-0 on the season Tuesday afternoon as they defeated Palomar College 87-76 in the opening round of the Wells Fargo Holiday tournament at Riverside. The victory sets up a showdown with #1 ranked Fullerton College Thursday at 5 pm in the quarterfinals.
Derrick Langley (pictured) scored 20 points and grabbed 8 rebounds off the bench to lead the Eagles. Mark Williams also scored 14 off the bench as the Eagles boasted a balanced attack. Lee Stephens, Tim Island, and Marc Wilson also scored in double figures. The Eagles were strong inside as they scored 52 points in the paint on the afternoon.
