Eagles Flowers Signs with North Dakota State
Dejuan Flowers, a 6’7” forward from the Mt. San Jacinto Eagles men’s basketball team has signed a national letter of intent to play next season at North Dakota State University a Division I school.
Flowers, a Minneapolis, MN native was a first team All Foothill Conference performer this past season helping guide the Eagles to a 26-7 record and a conference championship. Dejuan averageed13.3 points and 7.2 rebounds in his sophomore season and started all 33 games for the Eagles. Dejuan recorded a season high 22 points twice in games this year and had eight double doubles on the season. During his freshman season Dejuan averaged 10.7 points and 7.6 rebounds.
“I’m excited to be going to North Dakota State,” said Flowers “They have a nice program and it’s close to home which is a great thing for me.” Flowers graduated from Hopkins High School in 2005 and grey shirted at MSJC before playing the past two seasons for the California school. “My experience here was great as far as school, basketball, and my social life,” said Dejuan “California is good and San Jacinto’s been great.”
