Eagles Shoot Past Rio Hondo
The MSJC men's basketball team made 57% of their three point shots Wednesday night as they defeated host Rio Hondo 81-67.
D'Andre Williams punctuated his 19 point 7 assist performance with two late three point baskets to put the game away in the last few minutes. Dakota Downs recorded a double double with 16 points and a game high 12 rebounds. Darnell Ferguson joined Downs in the double double category with 11 points and 10 boards. Jeffrey West added 10 points in the victory. The Eagles built a 9 point halftime lead and never gave it up in the second half en route to their second straight win.
With the win the Eagles are now 19-7 on the season and 8-3 in Foothill Conference action. MSJC currently is locked in a tie for second place in the conference with Chaffey.
