Former Eagle Signs Pro Hoops Contract
Marcus Sikes, a former MSJC men’s basketball standout, has signed a professional contract to continue his playing career in Brazil.
Sikes was an All Foothill Conference performer for the Eagles during the 2005-06 season when he averaged 13 points and 11 rebounds a game. That season the Eagles advanced to the Southern California Regional Finals and won 24 games. Sikes moved on to the University of Cincinnati after leaving MSJC where he was a two year starter.
Sikes is one of 14 players that has moved on to the Division I level in the past five seasons from MSJC. He will play for Limeira in Brazil.
