Former Eagles Have Big Weeks
Two former MSJC men's basketball players were named their conference players of the week recently as both Lorenzo Keeler (MSJC 2006-07) and Ike Muoneke (MSJC 2005-2007) were honored.
Keeler a 6-2 guard originally from Escondido was named the Big West player of the week for Cal Poly San Louis Obispo after helping his team to a pair of conference wins last week. Keeler had a career high 25 points at Pacific and followed that with a 19 point effort against UC-Davis. Keeler was an All Conference performer in his one season with MSJC leading the Eagles in scoring during the 2006-07 season averaging 17 points per game.
Ike Muoneke was named the GPAC (Great Plains Athletic Conference) player of the week as well for his work in two victories for Dakota Wesleyan. During the two game stretch Muoneke averaged 13.5 points, 3 steals, and 16.5 rebounds for Wesleyan who is currently ranked #12 in the country in NAIA. For the season Ike is averaging 10.7 points and 7 rebounds per game. Ike played two seasons for MSJC and was a part of 42 Eagle victories.
