MSJC Comes up Short at AVC

The MSJC men's basketball team fell victim to some hot first half shooting by Antelope Valley and couldn't quite recover as they lost 86-77 in Lancaster.
The Eagles trailed by 7 at the half 42-35, but got to within one midway through the second half. For just the second time this season MSJC was out rebounded on the night 44-41.
Bucky Chenault came off the bench to lead three Eagles in double figures with 18 points. Darren May added 14 along with 5 assists and Dakota Downs just missed a double double with 12 points and 9 rebounds. The loss drops MSJC to 15-6 overall and 4-3 in Foothill Conference games, while Antelope Valley improved to 15-6 and 4-3.
