The Eagles, who were champions of the Foothill Conference, started the game strong and built a 14 point lead over the Tigers by halftime.  RCC would chip away at the lead in the second half and when the Eagles were unable to put the game away from the free throw line it gave the Tigers a chance to tie the game late and send it into overtime.  Mason Biddle of RCC made three free throws with less than 3 seconds to play to tie the game and send it into the extra period.

RCC took the lead for the first time in the game during the overtime period and held off the Eagles for the victory.  Anthony Dees led MSJC offensively on the night with 20 points he also grabbed a team high 10 rebounds while Josh Gouch added 16 and Taylor Bell 14.

MSJC finishes the season with an overall record of 23-6, while RCC improved to 18-10.  This season included several highs for the Eagles as they captured two tournament championships during their non conference schedule and also won a share of the Foothill Conference title.
