MSJC Men Pick Up Win No. 20

The MSJC men's basketball team won their 20th game of the season Friday night as they defeated visiting Antelope Valley 80-69.Jeffrey West

Dominic Tiger-Cortes led the Eagles with 15 points off the bench and Tykie Harris added 13 points and 10 rebounds. Dakota Downs and Jeffrey West both scored 12 points in the victory. MSJC trailed by three at the half, but shot a solid 8 for 17 from the three point line and 22 for 28 from the foul line to outscore AVC 53-39 in the second half.

The victory pushed the Eagles into sole possession of second place in the Foothill Conference at 9-3 their overall record for the season is now 20-7. D'Andre Williams and Eric Lawton contributed to the win with 9 points a piece.

The Eagles have two regular season games remaining including Wednesday's home game against Barstow. That game will begin at 7 pm. You can hear all the exciting action on the Eagle Radio Network at AM 1620 or across the internet at msjc.edu.
