Men's Basketball Stays Unbeaten

The MSJC men's basketball team moved their record to 4-0 on the season with a pair of victories over the weekend in the Southwestern Jaguar Classic.
On Friday night (Nov.16th) the Eagles defeated Southwestern College for the second time in a week, getting a huge performance off the bench from sophomore Rodney Williams. Rodney had 16 points and 6 rebounds in the 10 point victory.
Saturday afternoon the Eagles won again this time 65-52 over Miramar College. Sophomore Tim Island got hot in the second half hitting four three pointers to end the game with a team high 23 points. Island also hauled in 9 rebounds in the win.
The Eagles will travel to Oceanside Thanksgiving weekend to participate in the Palomar Tournament. MSJC will open the tourney Friday (Nov. 23) at 3 pm against Saddleback
