Two More Eagle Basketball Players Sign
Rodney Williams and Justin Jack both received scholarships late this summer to continue their basketball careers.
Williams a 6-5 forward from Los Angeles signed with Division I Western Illinois while Jack signed with Division II Morehouse University. Williams averaged 3.6 points per game and 2.4 rebounds while helping the Eagles to a 26-7 record and a Foothill Conference Championship. Rodney had his career high as an Eagle on November 16th when he scored 13 points against Southwestern. Jack was a two year member of the MSJC squad.
Williams and Jack join teammates Tim Island (San Diego State), Dejuan Flowers (North Dakota State), and Lee Stephens (Agustana) as the Eagles class of 2008 that have moved on to play. With Williams, Island, and Flowers signing with Division I schools the Eagles have now produced 18 Division I players since Coach Patrick Springer arrived in 2003.
