Eagles Fall in Regional Semi-Finals

The MSJC men's tennis team lost Tuesday at Ventura in the Southern California Regional Semi-Finals 5-0. The Pirates who entered the match as the top ranked team in the state won five singles matches for the victory. The Eagles were eliminated from team competition for the year, but still have 5 singles and 3 doubles teams alive in the individual regional tournament at Riverside, starting Thursday.

The loss dropped MSJC to 19-4 overall on the year completing the most successful season in school history. The Eagles set a school record for wins, won the Pacific Coast Conference Championship, and Taylor Witt won the individual conference crown.team
