Tennis Team Clinches Conference Title

The MSJC men's tennis team clinched at least a share of the Pacific Coast Conference Championship on Tuesday with a 8-1 victory over visiting Palomar College. Mitchell Grajeda set the tone with a straight set victory in the #1 singles match and Corey Sheehan stayed unbeaten on the year in singles with a 6-2, 6-4 straight set win.

The win set up a showdown on Thursday with Grossmont College, who's only PCC loss is to the Eagles. The Eagles won a match with the Griffons last month 5-4 in El Cajon. MSJC will host the match Thursday beginning at 2 pm.  The Eagles enter the match 13-0 in conference play and 18-2 overall.
