Soccer Team Wins 4-1 at Desert

The MSJC women's soccer team got a huge game from Olivia Palomares as they defeated host College of the Desert on Tuesday 4-1 to pick up their first conference victory of the season.

Palomares had two goals and two assist to lead the way for the Lady Eagles. Bailey Heim added a goal and an assist and Ursula Cervantes also scored for MSJC. In goal Veronica Tapia limited Desert to one goal and came up with 4 saves on the afternoon.

The win improved MSJC to 2-3 overall on the season and 1-2 in Foothill Conference play. The Lady Eagles are back in action Friday October 9th when they host San Bernardino Valley College at the Menifee Campus. Kick off is set for 4 pm.
