Lady Eagle Softball Team Splits a Pair of Conference Games
The MSJC softball team picked up a win over Barstow College and lost to Antelope Valley last week as the Lady Eagles get ready for their final four games of the season.
On Wednesday MSJC beat Barstow 11-3 on the strength of an explosive offense. Four Lady Eagles each collected 2 RBIs and 2 hits led by Kristy Connor who also added a home run. Renee Rayls, Asia Thomas, and Erica Marquess all each added 2 RBI as well and all three hit a double in the victory. Aleena Bahling picked up the pitching victory for MSJC.
On Friday MSJC fell at Antelope Valley by a score of 12-4. Bahling had two
RBIs in that game to lead the Lady Eagle offense. MSJC is now 6-4 in Foothill Conference play and 12-20 overall.
The Lady Eagles have four games remaining on their schedule, three at home. Friday MSJC will host Chaffey College at 3 pm at Wheat Field in Menifee. MSJC will also be home next week on Monday and Wednesday to host San Bernardino Valley and College of the Desert both of those games are also scheduled for 3 pm. The Lady Eagles wrap up the season on Friday April 20th when they travel to Victorville to take on the Victor Valley Rams.
Kristy Connor had 2 hits including a homerun on Wednesday as the MSJC softball team defeated Barstow College 11-3. The Lady Eagles are back in action on Friday April 13th when they host Foothill Conference leading Chaffey at 3 pm at Wheat Field in Menifee.
