MSJC Softball Loses Pitcher's Duel

Aleena Bahling pitched a four hitter and didn't allow an earned run, but some defensive errors cost MSJC Wednesday in women's softball as they lost to College of the Desert 2-0.mariahforroster.jpg

The Lady Eagles out hit the Roadrunners 7 to 4, but couldn't push a run across the plate.  Mariah Borjon and Alicia Landucci both had two hits a piece for MSJC.  Bahling struck out 5 and only walked one as she took the tough luck loss in the circle for the Lady Eagles.

The win improved Desert's overall record to 16-8 and they moved to 2-5 in Foothill Conference action.  MSJC fell to 4-12-1 overall and 2-5 in the conference.  MSJC is back in action when they travel to a tournament at Miramar Friday and Saturday.  Their first game of the tournament is Friday at 12:15 when they take on San Diego City at Hourglass Fields at Miramar.

Mariah Borjon went 2 for 3 on Wednesday, but MSJC came up short against COD losing a Foothill Conference game 2-0.
