MSJC Softball Team Falls in Pair of Games

The MSJC softball team lost to Santiago Canyon and Southwestern Friday in a pair of games played at Santiago Canyon.

The Lady Eagles lost to Southwestern 3-0 in a game that was scoreless through the first three innings.  The Jaguars scored 1 in the bottom of the fourth and 2 in the fifth for the victory.  Heather Hermida and Aleena Bahling both had two hits in the game for MSJC.  Bahling pitched 6 innings allowing 3 runs on 7 hits and struck out 3.

MSJC lost the second game of the day to Santiago Canyon 11-1.  Bahling, Stephanie Ascemcio, and Mariah Borjon each had a hit for the Lady Eagles in the game.  Alicia Landucci took the loss in the circle for MSJC in her first outing of the year.

The Lady Eagles are back in action Friday when they host San Diego Mesa in a doubleheader at Menifee.  The first game is set to begin at 1 pm.
