Softball Team Stays Unbeaten in Conference

The MSJC softball team improved their conference record to 3-0 on WednesdayLynsie Caldwell as they defeated visiting Victor Valley 11-3. The win moved the Lady Eagles overall record to 7-10.

Wednesday Lynsie Caldwell picked up the pitching victory going four innings and allowing just one hit while striking out five and giving up no runs. Victor Valley did manage to get on the board in the fifth inning off relief pitcher Angel Felipe. Offensively MSJC pounded out nine hits in four innings led by Caldwell's 2 for 3 performance with 4 RBI. Felipe had a double and 4 RBI as well. Sammi Rodriguez and Klarissa Flores also picked up two hits a piece for MSJC.

The Lady Eagles are back in action next Wednesday March 11th when they host College of the Desert at 3 pm. The game will be at Wheat Field in Menifee.

 

Lynsie Caldwell had another big day pitching and hitting, as MSJC moved to 3-0 in Foothill Conference play with an 11-3 win over Victor Valley.
