The MSJC volleyball team got off to a slow start Wednesday night in Whittier and couldn't recover as they lost to Rio Hondo College in straight sets.

The Roadrunners won by scores of 25-21, 25-15, and 25-14.  Allison Hatch was a bright spot for the Lady Eagles as she picked up 11 digs, 3 kills, and 2 aces.  The loss drops MSJC to 5-7 overall on the season and 0-4 in Foothill Conference play.

The Lady Eagles return to action tomorrow when they travel to Palm Desert to take on College of the Desert.  Match time is set for 5:30 pm.
