The Lady Eagles have two games remaining in the regular season and are currently tied with Southwestern at 10-2 in the PCAC standings.  On Friday it was a balanced scoring attack that helped the MSJC team, who is 21-6 overall, to a 47-27 halftime lead.  DeShea Wilkes helped the Lady Eagles to the first half lead as she scored all 10 of her points in the first half.

The Lady Eagles continued to build their lead in the second 20 minutes as Cora Lopez dominated the game with a team high 19 points and a game high 17 rebounds.  Brittany Neely and Johnette Brown also reached double figures in scoring with 11 points a piece.  MSJC won their fifth game in a row and set up next week with a chance to play for the conference championship.

The Lady Eagles travel to San Diego Mesa on Wednesday for a 7 pm game and host Southwestern next Friday at 5 pm in their final regular season home game.
