Lady Eagles' Iredale Signs with Upper Iowa

Britney IredaleMt. San Jacinto College women's basketball standout Britney Iredale signed a national letter of intent and full scholarship to Upper Iowa University on Wednesday April 11th, the first day of the official signing period for the spring semester.

Iredale, a Riverside native and graduate of Rubidoux High School, helped guide the Lady Eagles to the Foothill Conference championship this past year as well as a trip to the Southern California Regional Finals. For her efforts Britney was named First Team All State as well as Foothill Conference MVP. Britney earned first team all conference honors as a freshman as well during the 05-06 season. Britney concluded her career with a monster game in the regional finals against College of the Canyons, collecting 25 points and 20 rebounds. In her two years as a Lady Eagle Britney started in all 60 games, finished with 1,133 career points and 665 career rebounds for an amazing career average of 19 points and 11 rebounds a game.

Britney plans on being a business major at Upper Iowa. Upper Iowa is an NCAA Division II school located in Fayette, Iowa.
