The MSJC women's basketball team brought home their third straight conference win on Wednesday when they defeated the host Barstow Vikings 82-62.
The Lady Eagles balanced attack was led by a great all around game from Danielle Smith who recorded 13 points, 14 assists, 9 steals, and 8 rebounds. Brandie McCann also added 13 points for MSJC, who improved to 16-5 overall and 3-1 in Foothill Conference play. Rayven Lewis came off the bench to add 11 points for the Lady Eagles and Nicole Villalobos added 10 points and 7 rebounds.
MSJC got off to a quick start and built a 15 point halftime lead at 46-31. The Lady Eagles came out of the locker room and raced off on a 10-0 run that put the game out of reach the rest of the way. The Lady Eagles biggest lead of the game was 31 points.
