The Lady Eagles had several chances to win and held a 4 point lead with just over 7 minutes to go in the game, but San Bernardino was able to make plays and use their height advantage late in the game to pull out the victory.  MSJC got off to a fast start jumping out to an 8-2 lead, but turned the ball over 17 times in the first half to fall behind at the break 35-26.

The second half was a back and forth battle for 20 minutes with SBVC never building the lead to more than the 9 point advantage they had to start the half and the Lady Eagles biggest lead being 4.  MSJC held their own on the glass only being out rebounded 39-38 by the much bigger Wolverines.

Tina Fantroy led the MSJC offense with 22 points, she also pulled in a team high 6 rebounds.  Ashley Jenkins added 11 points and three Lady Eagles; Faith Fantroy, Aishah Pullum, and Nicholle Reyna all had 7 points.

The Lady Eagles finished the season 23-8 while SBVC improved to 28-3 and will move onto the Elite Eight of the state tournament.
