Women's Basketball Team Falls at Antelope Valley

The MSJC women's basketball team had a tough shooting night Wednesday as they fell on the road to Antelope Valley College in a Foothill Conference game.
The loss which drops the Lady Eagles to 18-5 overall and 5-3 in Foothill Conference action saw MSJC shoot just 30% for the game. The poor shooting led to a 14 point halftime deficit before the Lady Eagles lost the game 79-56. Antelope Valley improved to 14-8 overall and 4-3 in conference play.
The Lady Eagles currently ranked #13 in the state were led in scoring by Tina Fantroy who had 21 points. Jasmine Jones and Nicholle Reyna both added 8 for MSJC. The Lady Eagles return to action on Saturday when they travel to San Bernardino Valley to take on the third ranked Wolverines.
