The MSJC women's basketball team jumped out to a 9-2 lead and never looked back on Wednesday as they defeated Victor Valley College 70-48.

The Lady Eagles built the halftime lead to 38-19 and pushed it to as much as 25 early in the second.  Kaylee Moreno led MSJC in scoring with 20, while Terri Todecheene added 18 and 7 rebounds.  Point guard Danielle Reed had 15 points and 6 assists in the victory.  Ashley Jenkins was big on the glass for MSJC with a game high 15 rebounds.

The win improved the Lady Eagles to 21-7 on the season and 11-2 in Foothill Conference play while Victor Valley fell to 3-20, and 2-11.  MSJC will play their final regular season game on Saturday when they host Antelope Valley College.  Game time is set for 1 pm, and you can hear all of the action on the Eagle Radio Network at msjc.edu or at AM 1620.
