Lady Golfers Tee it Up at Regionals

Sophomore Kathryn New positioned herself nicely for the State Tournament next week by shooting a 78 on the first day of the Southern California Regionals that concludes today, Tuesday, November 10, 2009. New’s 78, consisting of 13 pars, 4 bogeys, and 1 double bogey, puts her in a tie for 2nd place in the field of 50 women community college golfers.

Freshman Katelyn Hardy, shot a season high 105, but kept up her good spirits and will try and rebound in the second round.

The Lady Eagles will tee it up for the final round of the season prior to next week’s State Tournament beginning at 6:30 a.m. on the 5,845 yard South Course at Los Serranos Country Club, in Chino Hills, that was founded by the late tennis great Jack Kramer."
