Three Lady Eagles in Top 10 at Individual Event
The MSJC women's golf team competed against their Foothill Conference opponents on Monday as usual, but the event only recorded individual scores.
Wan Ling (Iris) Chung fired the lowest score for the Lady Eagles with an 81, which was good enough for a third place finish. Taylor Crandall of Palomar was the medalist with a 78. The Lady Eagles Dayna Doidge shot a 46-41 for an 87 that left her in a tie for 8th place on the day. Cheyenne Ackerman carded an 88 to place 10th on the day.
Three other Lady Eagles played on Monday with Alice Hiluta shooting a 91, while Valerie Zulueta shot 96, and Amanda Hodgin turned in a 98 at San Luis Rey Country Club.
MSJC will be back in action on Monday and Tuesday as they travel to Morro Bay to take part in the North-South Invitational. The Lady Eagles resume Foothill Conference action on Wednesday October 3rd at Twin Oaks Golf Club.
