Women's Golfers Compete at South Coast Invitational

Alice Hiluta led the way for the Lady Eagles shooting a two day total of 158.  Hiluta shot an 80 on Sunday at Buena Ventura Golf Club and followed that with a 78 on Monday morning at Olivas Links Golf Club.  Her 158 total was good enough for an 8th place finish in the individual portion of the event which included 63 golfers from 12 different colleges.

Cheyenne Ackerman shot a two day total of 169.  On Sunday Ackerman fired an 81 and followed it on Monday with an 88.  The third Lady Eagles competing in the tournament was Kaylee Brackenbury who shot a 122 and 110 for a two day total of 199.

MSJC will return to Orange Empire Conference competition on Monday September 16th when they travel to El Prado Golf Club in Chino.
