MSJC Soccer Falls to SBVC; Picks Up Win Against COD
The MSJC women's soccer team picked up their second win of the season last Friday when they defeated College of the Desert 3-2 in Menifee. Jasmine Lopez, Ashley Ales, and Kamber Howard all had goals for the Lady Eagles and Taylor Wolf picked up 4 saves in the victory.
In other games over the last week and a half MSJC came up short against Antelope Valley 5-1 (Oct. 18). Jamie Ayala scored the Lady Eagles goal on an assist from Johanna Perry. Wolf had 6 saves in goal while Erica Marquess added 3 saves. MSJC also was defeated by Chaffey on October 11th 4-0 in. Wolf and Marquess combined for 13 saves in goal. In MSJC's most recent game Friday October 21st the Lady Eagles fell to the defending State Champion Wolverines of San Bernardino Valley 4-0.
MSJC now stands at 2-13 on the season and 2-6 in Foothill Conference matches. The Lady Eagles return to action on Friday October 28th when they host Rio Hondo College at 3 pm in Menifee.
