Pasadena Ends MSJC Soccer Win Streak

The MSJC soccer team played their final tune-up for Pacific Coast Athletic Conference kemptonanderson2013.jpgplay on Tuesday and came up on the short end of a home match with Pasadena City College 3-1.

The Lady Eagles, who had won three straight coming into the match, played the Lancers tough for the entire first half, but a goal in the 45th and final minute of the first half gave Pasadena a 1-0 lead at the break.  The Lancers would add their second goal early in the second half and add a third in the 50th minute to take a 3-0 lead.  The Lady Eagles finally got on the scoreboard in the final minute of the match when Dimitri Tsambasis scored an unassisted goal.

Kayla Kempton-Anderson played the final 32 minutes in goal for MSJC and recorded 5 saves.  The Lady Eagles finished their non conference portion of the schedule with a 4-3 record.  MSJC will be back in action when the kick off play in the PCAC on Tuesday October 1st at Southwestern.  Next Tuesday's game in Chula Vista begins at 3:15.

 

Kayla Kempton-Anderson played 32 minutes in goal for MSJC recording 5 saves on Tuesday, but the Lady Eagles fell against Pasadena City College 3-1 in Menifee.
