Soccer Team Beats Desert; Loses to SBVC
The MSJC women's soccer team showed some offensive fire power last Tuesday (Oct. 19th) as they defeated College of the Desert 6-1 for the Lady Eagles first win of the season. Bethany Hubbs led the charge with two goals and an assist while teammates Kaitlin Mantz, Kristina O'Brien, and Amanda Cook also added goals.
This past Tuesday (Oct. 26) Michelle Peebles had 17 saves in goal, but it wasn't quite enough as the Lady Eagles lost at San Bernardino Valley 4-0. MSJC now stands at 1-9 on the season and 1-7 in Foothill Conference matches. The Lady Eagles return to action this Friday October 29th when they host Chaffey in a 3 pm match. All MSJC home soccer matches are played on the Menifee Campus.
