Soccer Team Can't Take Advantage of Chances

The MSJC women's soccer team had opportunities to score on Saturday, but came up short as they fell to the state's 8th ranked team Sierra College 2-0 in Menifee.melissalopez2013.jpg

The Lady Eagles got a strong performance in goal from Missy Lopez who had 11 saves on the afternoon.  MSJC did have 15 shots on goal, but were unable to make any of them count.  According to head coach Chauncey Hayes his team played a solid game and dominated the action at times, but did make two mistakes and Sierra was there to capitalize on them.

MSJC now 1-2 on the season will play at home again tomorrow September 10th when they host Victor Valley College in Menifee.  Kick off is set for 2 pm.

 

Missy Lopez had 11 saves Saturday, but the MSJC women's soccer team couldn't find the net as they fell to Sierra College the #4 team from Northern Cal and #8 team in the state 2-0.
