Soccer Team Ties First Place Chaffey

The MSJC women's soccer team played first place Chaffey to a 1-1 tie in Rancho Cucamonga on Friday.soccerforchaffey.jpg

The Lady Eagles took the lead in the 14th minute when Jamie Ayala scored her 13th goal of the season on an assist from Yuvitza Garcia.  Chaffey scored their lone goal of the match on a penalty kick.  Lady Eagle goal keeper Taylor Wolf had 11 saves for MSJC in the tie.

MSJC is now 8-3-4 overall and 2-2-4 in Foothill Conference action while Chaffey is now 11-1-4 overall and 5-0-3 in conference play.  The Lady Eagles return to action on Tuesday when they host Rio Hondo in a Foothill Conference match at Menifee at 3 pm.  Rio Hondo enters the contest with a 4-2-1 mark in conference play.

 

The MSJC women's soccer team played the state's #11 ranked team Chaffey to a tie on Friday in Rancho Cucamonga.  The Lady Eagles return home on Tuesday October 23rd to take on Rio Hondo College in a 3 pm match.
