Earn your AA/BSBA Degrees in the Temecula Valley

California State University San Marcos Extended Learning, Temecula Campus (CSUSM-TEM) and Mt. San Jacinto College (MSJC) have partnered to offer an innovative Associate & Bachelor of Science in Business Administration 2+2 Cohort Program for students in South Riverside County.

The MSJC and CSUSM-TEM Business program:

  • Employs a cohort format which promotes a strong peer-to-peer support network and personal attention from professors
  • Guarantees time to graduation as long as all required courses are successfully completed as indicated on the student education plan (five semesters)
  • Is offered in a face-to-face format with programs at CSUSM-TEM starting in fall, summer or spring; MSJC program starts in fall only and includes face-to-face, hybrid & online courses
  • Offers students the unique opportunity to gain real-world business experience and training with a Senior Experience project at CSUSM-TEM
  • Includes a professional one-on-one mentoring program at CSUSM-TEM & Business Success Seminars at MSJC, both of which provide valuable experience with business professionals
  • Is financial aid eligible

MSJC Business Administration Required Courses

MSJC Business Cohort students have guaranteed seating in all required courses for completion of the Associate in Science for Transfer (AST-T) Degree in Business Administration. Courses planned for MSJC cohort students include all lower-division Pre-Business Core required courses and all lower-division CSU General Education required areas. Students who successfully complete the program will meet the 60 transferable unit minimum requirement for transfer.

Additional MSJC Information:

  • MSJC Business cohort classes are held during daytime hours, and may be scheduled Monday through Thursday
  • Additional requirements each semester (not for credit):  Business Success Seminar and Supplemental Instruction, which are built into the program
  • Students must be prepared for college-level Math 105 & English 101 to meet program eligibility
  • Students who are fluent in any language other than English may not need to take additional foreign language or ASL courses – please see MSJC Counselor to determine best path
