About the Department of Business Services
The Department of Business Services is responsible for developing and recommending financial policies, strategies, plans and programs for meeting current and future needs of the District. Advice, consultation, and assistance are provided to the District community regarding financial analysis, accounting, procurement, business contracting, and payroll.
In addition, the department is charged with District financial and accounting reporting and controls and with developing reports and other information. The department administers the District's property and liability risk management program, and reviews and monitors the campus for conformance with safety requirements.
