Physical Resource Committee

 

 Membership:

  • Management (2) including (1) co-chair
  • Faculty (2) including (1) co-chair
  • Classified (2) Including (1) co-chair
  • Student (2)
  • Compliance Officer (non-voting)
  • Construction/Facility Planner (non-voting) 

Charge: 

The Physical Resource Committee will oversee the college’s facilities improvements to ensure compliance with the Facilities Master Plan and advance planning for capital projects, space management, facility efficiencies, and to evaluate the total cost of ownership of any facility modifications’ and new construction projects.  The committee will make recommendations to the Budget Committee for further consideration. 

 
The committee will set protocols and oversee the on-site and off-site Safety Inspections.  These inspections will be conducted annually (by 3rd party administrator) and quarterly (by district personnel).   Results of Safety Inspections will be sent to District Safety Committee for review. 
 
The committee will set protocols and oversee the district’s administrative procedure for Total Cost of Ownership for Physical Resources. 

 The Physical Resource Committee will meet quarterly; September, December, February and May.
