Please join the members of College Council for a workshop on Shared Governance and your role as a committee member, constituent leader, support personnel, or just someone interested in participating and learning more!

Topics will include:

  •   Purpose of Shared Governance
  •  The Planning Structure and the Role of College Council and Shared Governance
  • Setting and Assessing Annual Goals
  • Report-Out Template and Requirements
  • Brown Act and Robert’s Rules of Order Overview
  • Agenda and Minutes Submission
  • And More…

 

Purpose: To learn more about your role in the Shared Governance structure

Who Should Attend: Committee Chair(s), anyone currently serving on a Shared Governance Committee, supporting a Shared Governance Committee or interested in participating in Shared Governance (this includes Students, Staff, Faculty and Administration). 

When: Thursday, February 17, 2011 during College Hour (12:30 – 2:00 PM)

WhereSan Jacinto Campus, Room 200 or via LINK at Menifee Campus, Room 851
