Alvin Walton

AlvinWaltonW.jpgAlvin was a standout strong safety for the Eagles in 1982 and 1983. Alvin was twice named first team all conference and in his sophomore season also recognized as All State and All American. Alvin went on to become a two year starter at Kansas University where as a senior he earned 2nd team All Big 8 honors. Following the 1986 season Alvin was drafted in the third round by the NFL’s Washington Redskins. Alvin played six seasons with the Redskins including 1988 when he was a starter on the team that won Superbowl XXII. Alvin completed his playing career in the CFL where he helped the Baltimore Stallions win the Grey Cup.
