“I have watched the Menifee Valley Campus grow from several buildings and 2,100 students to the developing, energetic campus we are today. But as the Grateful Dead said ‘What a long strange trip it’s been.’
The journey, like most any journey, has been joyous and inspiring (the recognition and successes of both colleagues and students), trying and frustrating (the too frequent state budget cuts), sad and unfortunate (the loss of too many colleagues), and always interesting.
And I have watched Mt. San Jacinto College mature, evolve from a local, rural junior college that sat among the dairies in the San Jacinto Valley into a nationally recognized, state-leading, multi-campus community college. I am delighted and gratified to be a part of the MSJC faculty.”
