“Before I entered the Viticulture, Enology & Winery program at MSJC, I was a wine server. The knowledge I gained through the MSJC VEW program prepared me for an amazing job and has made my value as an employee increase tremendously. I work at Wilson Creek Winery Estate and Vineyards in Temecula under the legendary winemaker Etienne Cowper, who is also the MSJC instructor for wine making. I still serve wine, but now I also give guided tours, answer in-depth questions about wine and my favorite thing is to analyze wines.
I am very blessed to be where I am and who I work with.
Things just fell in place for me and I truly have to thank all of the professors in the VEW program for being the most powerful influences I have ever had the honor of having in my life.
I am the first person in my family to go to college. My goal is to get a Bachelor’s degree in business and viticulture and a Master’s degree in enology.”
